When you work with me, you are gaining a personal travel concierge who provides insight, advocacy, protection, and peace of mind. I save you time, add value, and remain your dedicated support before, during, and after your trip.

It is also important to understand that travel planning involves real business expenses such as international calls, professional memberships, planning tools, subscriptions, and insurance. These are essential to designing a seamless and well supported vacation.

The fee ensures I am compensated for providing expert travel advice regardless of commission. It covers the initial consultation, in depth research, itinerary design, and ongoing revisions until everything aligns perfectly with your needs. Charging a planning fee allows me to devote the appropriate care, attention, and resources during this critical planning phase, rather than steering clients toward higher commission options.

The planning fee represents a commitment from both of us. Similar to working with a designer or an attorney, this fee compensates professional expertise, time, and strategic guidance, and ensures your trip receives focused attention with dedicated time and resources allocated to designing your itinerary from start to finish.

When booking through Expedia or directly with a cruise line or supplier, you are still using a travel agent who earns commission. The difference is that you receive no personalized service. There is no one who knows your preferences, allergies, or special occasions, no one invested in whether your trip is exceptional, and no one to call when something goes wrong.

1. We protect precious vacation dollars and hours. We’ve been there, seen the resorts, know the locations and we take time to get to know our clients as well as possible so that we can match them with the right experience. We’d hate to see you waste your money on the wrong vacation

2. We help save you all the time and hassle. There is so much on the internet these days and it is hard to know what is accurate or not. Thanks to our expertise, we know the options far better than most. In addition, we are your advocate. We’re the one that sits on hold, checks fares, prices and saves you hours and hours of time.

3. We can get special VIP touches that clients do not have access to.

4. Our job doesn’t stop when we book the travel. We go the extra mile to book restaurant reservations, special activities, golf tee times, shore excursions, etc. We also prepare clients for travel to make sure their passports & visas are current, packing advice, currency guidelines and more.

5. We have in destination support. If you have any unexpected surprises while traveling, we have “boots on the ground” who can assist.

6. Help with group bookings – We can make special arrangements not easily arranged on your own

Cancellations: $250+. All cancellations may incur additional penalties. If you choose not to proceed with booking or cancel your trip for any reason, including a force majeure event as defined in the Terms and Conditions, you may apply Explore Effortlessly services toward a future trip, provided the new booking is made within 90 days. If the new trip is not booked within 90 days, an additional trip consultation fee will apply.

If the trip consultation fee is paid and the client chooses to book travel independently, Explore Effortlessly is not responsible for or liable for any services not booked through the agency. If you decide to change to an entirely different destination, additional fees may apply.

All fees are nonrefundable and subject to change on a case by case basis. Any trip cancelled prior to departure for any reason is subject to a cancellation fee of $250 per person, or 10% per hotel for hotel only bookings.

REBOOKING FEE – Should you need to rebook your trip, for whatever reason, you may be subject to a rebooking fee of $150 each time you need to rebook a single trip

LAST MINUTE FEE - Trips departing within 30 days or less will incur an additional $150 expedition fee
