PACKING FOR A TRIP, WHETHER IT IS A QUICK WEEKEND GETAWAY OR A LONG HAUL BACKPACKING ADVENTURE CAN BE DAUNTING. THIS PACKING GUIDE COVERS ALL OF THE TRAVEL ESSENTIALS FOR THE PLANE RIDE THERE AND FOR THE TRIP ITSELF.

 TRAVEL GEAR

These travel must haves are perfect for every type of trip. They help take the stress out of traveling by keeping everything organized. A 50L Backpack is perfect for backpacking trips! I managed to backpack Europe for a whole month using this backpack. I fit my makeup bag, one pair of sandals and wedges. (I wore my tennis shoes). If you’re looking to take a carry on luggage, then this is the one for you! It is expandable and has a built in lock. You’d be surprised how much you can fit in here! It also has separate compartments to help keep your belongings organized. Compression and jewelry bags are perfect for organizing your belongings! Same with the toiletry bag and small travel size bottles! These items will help protect and transport your items just in case there are any spills. Unfortunately, people pick pocket and have the ability to steal your credit card information by swiping your cards that are in your bag. I recommend this fanny pack to wear under your clothes while you’re using public transportation to protect your money from being stolen. A reusable water bottle is not only good for the environment but it helps save money! A sleep mask and neck pillow will help you sleep on the flight. I also love having a passport holder because it keeps your passport pages from ripping or becoming bent.

HYGIENE ITEMS

In order to prevent getting sick while traveling, I recommend these hygiene items. Hand sanitizer, sanitizing spray and airborne tablets. I also included my absolute favorite makeup removing wipes. I have tried every makeup wipe under the sun and this one is hands down the best. Dry shampoo, travel electric toothbrush and aluminum free deodorant will help you to feel fresh during the flight. Bug spray and sunscreen are also imperative when traveling.

ELECTRONICS

I never travel internationally without my universal travel adapter and WiFi hotspot. The Wifi hotspot is everything. It works in 130+ countries and is SIM card free with 4G LTE coverage. I also never travel without a charging cable for my smartphone, wireless headphones and a portable USB charger. Not all planes have charging outlets so it is good to bring your own charger just in case.
